Watch Mike Weber run one of the best 40 times of any running back at the NFL Combine

Folks, former Ohio State running back might be making himself some money and improving his stock for the upcoming NFL Draft. Yesterday he took part in a media session at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine where he was rather cool, calm and collected. He then proceeded to bench press 225 lbs. twenty-two times.

And then today happened.

We’ve heard a lot of analysts and pundits question Weber’s top end gear to be a game-breaker. That might have been put to rest today.

That’s because Weber ran a sub 4.5 forty time that was one of the best times of any running back in this year’s NFL Scouting Combine. In fact, in case you missed it on the NFL Network, here’s a view of that run.

There were several unofficial times reported that caused confusion, but Weber’s official best time ended up being 4.47 — good enough for a tie for the third best time of any running back at the combine, and anything but slow.

Good for Weber. He’s projected somewhere in the second round, but a showing like this could boost his chances to be taken a little earlier than originally thought.
