Mike Tyson seems to be enjoying his post-boxing days to the fullest. He’s entered the cannabis business in California, growing and selling various forms of the plant with his company, Tyson Ranch.
On his podcast, brilliantly named “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,” he recently revealed that he and his business partner, former NFL player Eben Britton, smoke about $40,000 worth of weed per month.
Britton chimes in on the episode, estimating that that equates 10 tons of marijuana. “We smoke a lot of weed here,” Britton said.
Tyson and Britton are working on new ways to cash in on the crop, too, including what they call a “weed resort” near Palm Springs. The 420-acre area (yes, of course) will include a convention center, a lazy river, a cannabis-centric wellness center, and festival grounds.
No word yet on when the resort will open, but it’s never too soon to start stocking up on snacks.
