WATCH: Michigan State athletes return to campus for COVID-19 testing, workouts

College sports are starting to creep back at Michigan State.

Athletes from he football, basketball, and volleyball teams are permitted to return to campus for voluntary workouts starting June 15. Prior to working out the athletes must pass two tests for COVID-19 and follow all local, state, and federal guidelines pertaining to curbing the spread of the disease.

In this video from WLNS’ Audrey Dahlgren you can see Foster Loyer and Joey Hauser from the men’s basketball team heading into the Skandalaris football center for their testing.

Later Josh Langford, Malik Hall, Julius Marble, and true freshman Mady Sissoko arrived for the same.

Last night the school’s official football Twitter account tweeted some pictures of athletes returning to campus.

There still much to be determined as it relates to COVID-19 and college sports returning, but at MSU some of the athletes are at least starting to get bak into the swing of things.
