WATCH: Michigan’s John Beilein agrees to five-year deal with Cleveland Cavaliers

Longtime Michigan basketball coach John Beilein is making the move to the NBA. As first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Beilein agreed to a five-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday and informed the school early Monday morning.

Beilein spent the past 12 seasons in Ann Arbor, leading his Wolverines to two national championship game appearances, two Big Ten championships, and two Big Ten tournament titles. His squads dipped below the 20-win mark only three times and averaged 28 wins his last four seasons.

He gets to reunite with Nik Stauskas, one of the nine NBA players he groomed while at Michigan, in Cleveland.
