Michael Carter II Tyrod Taylor Jets

It’s been an early strong start for the defensive Michael Carter II. After being involved in an early third-down sack of Giants QB Tyrod Taylor, Carter made a leaping interception of Taylor, who was scrambling and targeting TE Daniel Bellinger on 3rd and 13. Carter simply said “not today”.

This is a good early test for the Jets, as they very well will be seeing plenty of scrambling from Lamar Jackson in two weeks against the Ravens. This will certainly give the defense some confidence going forward.
