Mike Conley is heading west.
The Memphis Grizzlies have traded the point guard to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Kyle Korver, Jae Crowder, Grayson Allen, and a couple draft picks.
Conley will be a boost at point for the Jazz, averaging 21.1 points, 6.4 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game last season. That’s nearly double the scoring provided by Ricky Rubio — who started 67 of 82 games for Utah last year — while still producing more assists than Rubio last season.
So Rubio is seemingly on the outs in Salt Lake City, while Ja Morant is looking like even more of a lock than he already was to go No. 2 overall in Thursday’s NBA draft … to the Memphis Grizzlies.
