The Rams essentially took the first quarter off after a slow start against the Giants, falling behind 3-0 in the first frame. But in the second quarter, they lit it up. Having already thrown two touchdown passes in the quarter, Matthew Stafford tacked on a third just before halftime to give the Rams a 25-point lead.
Stafford found Darrell Henderson Jr. on a wheel route down the left sideline, dropping the ball in the bucket with a perfect throw for six points. It was Stafford’s third touchdown pass of the game and the Rams’ fourth score of the afternoon, going up 28-3.
