Shocking image shows a woman throwing her drink in Tanaiste Leo Varadkar's face while he's being interviewed.
The footage - which is being widely shared on social media - shows a woman carrying a skateboard in one hand and a drink in the other approach the former Taoiseach and Castleknock TD as he speaks to camera.
The Tanaiste seems unaware that she is approaching him until she throws the contents of her cup in his face from close range.
Fine Gael's Noel Rock described the unidentified woman's action as "a poxy thing to do".
Dublin Live has contacted Gardai and Deputy Varadkar's office for a comment on the incident.
Tensions have been high ahead of Cabinet's announcement later today, when Dublin is expected to be forced into a second lockdown.
