LaMelo Ball is still a year away from being eligible for the NBA, but he already has a few fans in the league including, but not limited to, Marvin Bagley III, who was taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. And what is the sincerest form of flattery? Imitation, of course.
During an event at NBA All-Star Weekend, Bagley attempted to impersonate LaMelo’s jump shot with the help of basketball comedian Maxisnicee, who did his own impression of LaMelo in December.
Bagley’s impression wasn’t quite as good as Max’s, but it was an admirable effort, for sure, and anyone who has watched LaMelo play enough would know it’s his jumper.
