Watch: Marquise Brown scores his first NFL TD on 47-yard catch-and-run vs. Dolphins

The Baltimore Ravens were expected to lean on the ground game against the Miami Dolphins to open the season — and they have. But that doesn’t mean the pass catchers won’t be around to make plays.

After driving the field with the ground game, Baltimore’s defense got in on the big-play action. Safety Earl Thomas intercepted Miami quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. The offense got back to work with quarterback Lamar Jackson finding rookie wide receiver Marquise Brown on a short pass across the middle, who shook off and outran the defender for a 47-yard touchdown — the first of his career and in front of his hometown crowd.

It was looking like being a long day for the hapless Dolphins going into the game. The first quarter has done little to dispell this.
