Baltimore sports teams tend to stick together. The Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles have usually interacted well, getting high-profile players from both teams to games and practices so the fans can spread the love to both sides.
That happened once again today as two of the Ravens’ 2019 NFL draft picks threw out the first pitches before the Orioles took on the Boston Red Sox.
Brown and Ferguson might be good-luck charms. Baltimore would go on to beat Boston 4-1 to move to 13-22 on the season.
Brown was taken in the first round with the No. 25 overall selection. Ferguson was considered the Ravens’ biggest steal of the draft, taken in the third round. Both are expected to be major impact players immediately for the Ravens.
