Watch: Mark Ingram busts off 55-yard run, Seth Roberts destroys defender on block

The Baltimore Ravens ran roughshod over the New England Patriots defense early in the game. The offensive line opened up huge holes and Baltimore’s running backs took advantage. On their third drive, up 10-0, the Ravens punched the Patriots in the stomach with the run once again.

Running back Mark Ingram kicked off the drive in a big way, finding the massive hole off the left side, rumbling his way down the field for 53 yards. Baltimore would find the end zone on the very next play as Gus Edwards followed a similar model on his 12-yard touchdown run.

But take a look at Ingram’s run below.

While the run itself was impressive, what might be more noteworthy was the crushing block that wide receiver Seth Roberts put on. Roberts practically blocked his man all the way into the end zone and kept pace with Ingram in the process.

With Edwards’ touchdown run on the next play, Baltimore has scored 17 points, more than any of New England’s opponents have scored this season. The Ravens have always been a fierce opponent for the Patriots and even in a year where they’ve changed quarterbacks, that one fact hasn’t changed.
