Mark Dantonio spoke to the media after Michigan State’s first training camp session of the preseason. He was happy that the guys, in his mind, seemed to retain a lot of what they covered in the Spring. That’s a good first sign for the Michigan State Spartans football team. This is the 13th training camp of the Mark Dantonio era and they will be looking to bounce back after an injury-ridden 7-6 season.
Michigan State was recently ranked #20 in Amway’s Preseason Coaches Poll. So, while the Spartans did struggle last season, coaches around the country are prepared to see the Spartans bounce back, and that’s mostly what I expect as well.
