Dantonio noted multiple times how happy he was with the team’s “workman-like” attitude and mindset throughout the game, not letting negative situations impact their play.
He also noted the strong play of his seniors, from Darrell Stewart Jr. to Brian Lewerke, to Raequan Williams, to Joe Bachie, to Matt Seybert. Seybert, the senior transfer from Buffalo, had a breakout game, scoring 2 touchdowns.
