Watch: Man allegedly calls teenagers on Luas 'sluts' and 'pigs' before threatening to kill another passenger

Footage has emerged after a man allegedly called women including young teenagers "sluts" and "pigs" during a Luas journey in Dublin.

This clip filmed on Saturday after the alleged taunts shows the man sticking his middle finger up to one of the passengers he is alleged to have abused saying "f*** you" and "suck it".

One of the teens who was allegedly abused, 16-year-old Jade Murray, said that the abuse started the minute her and her friend got on in Drimnagh.

She commented: "He was on the Luas before us. The minute we got on he started shouting at us and rubbing his middle finger on his face.

"He called us 'c***s', 'sluts' and for some reason kept calling us German, he must have thought we were from there.

"My friend was wearing a pink top and he started calling her a 'pink pig'."

"That's when the woman in the video intervened and then he started abusing her too and as you can see is sticking his middle finger up at her."

Jade said that another passenger then told the man to shut up and he turned aggressive.

The Ballyfermot native added: "He told him, 'you picked on the wrong person today' and 'the day you argue with me is the day you die'.

"We got off in Jervis and so did he. We panicked and ran away from him as quick as we could so we didn't get time to report it to any workers."
