WATCH: Khalil Mack, Mitchell Trubisky, Kyle Fuller featured in ‘Sunday Night Football’ intro

After the Chicago Bears opened the 2019 season on Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers, Bears fans had an entire Sunday afternoon to catch up on the rest of the league.

The first Sunday of the regular season culminated in an AFC showdown between the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers; the Patriots routed the Steelers 33-3.

If Bears fans watched the game they probably got a peek at some familiar faces — outside linebacker Khalil Mack, quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and cornerback Kyle Fuller were all featured in the “Sunday Night Football” intro.

Chicago will appear in three Sunday night games in 2019, with the potential for games to be flexed to Sunday night later in the season. The Bears will travel to Los Angeles to play the Rams on Nov. 17, and they’ll host the Chiefs on Dec. 22 in Sunday night action.

Bears fans will be waiting all week for next Sunday, when Chicago travels to Denver to take on the Broncos.
