Watch lots of great buys are on their way at auction

PROVING that buying fascinating cars doesn’t have to cost a fortune, Manor Park Classics has some enticing machines about to come up for grabs.

Arguably the rarest offering is a 1964 Fiat 600D set to sell for up to £5500, which has remained with one family from new.

Smart and original low-mileage “modern classics” include a 1990 Ford Escort XR3i, with just 9000 miles on the clock, valued at about £25,000.

Also showing 9000 miles is a pristine 1987 Austin Metro 1.3 Mayfair worth as much as £3500 and a 1993 Volkswagen Polo Match with less than 34,000 miles on the clock could go for £4000.

Meanwhile, a 1974 Mk3 MG Midget that’s been professionally upgraded for fast road or competition use is a superb prospect at £6000.

And a 1977 MGB GT also offers great potential as a running project, with much important structural work already completed.

Other tempting lots include a £3500 1990 Jaguar XJ6, an £11,000 Subaru Impreza Turbo and a 1996 Volkswagen Golf GTi 20th Anniversary model at a similar price.

The seven-day online auction begins on January 30 and all lots will be available for viewing at MPC’s Cheshire HQ – go to manorparkclassics.com for more information.
