The Los Angeles Chargers were definitely going for the nostalgia factor when revealing the powder blue uniforms they’ll wear for home games in the 2019 season.
But not everyone is on board with the way the Chargers chose to market their new primary look. The reveal video features Junior Seau, the legendary San Diego Charger who died by suicide at the age of 43. After his death in 2012, he was diagnosed with CTE, a degenerative brain disease that is believed to be connected to repeated head trauma.
