WATCH: Lonzo Ball pulls up to watch LaMelo make Drew League debut

High school basketball phenom and younger brother of Lonzo Ball LaMelo Ball made his debut at the Drew League in Los Angeles on Saturday and it’s safe to say people in the area had his debut marked on their calendars.

Eric He of Inside SoCal Sports posted a video of the line that formed outside of the King/Drew Magnet High School Gym and it looked like the line for an iPhone midnight release or a Jordan shoe drop.

As LaMelo’s father LaVar Ball often likes to put it: He puts butts in the seats.

Among the butts that were seated on Saturday were his family, including Lonzo, LaVar, LiAngelo, Tina, and a few others. Lonzo’s manager Darren “DMO” Moore was also at the game.

One will notice LiAngelo Ball is on crutches and that’s because he recently underwent ankle surgery. He’ll sit out this year’s NBA Summer League as a result.

One might also notice that neither Lonzo or LiAngelo were sporting their usual Big Baller Brand attire. LaVar, on the other hand, is still very committed to promoting the family brand.

Will LaMelo put on a show for the people that came out to support him? Stay tuned to find out.
