Watch Liverpool players celebrate a first ever Premier League title win

After over 11,000 days, Liverpool are again champions of England and - for the first time - Premier League title winners, and all the players were together to celebrate the moment.

Manchester City's defeat to Chelsea confirmed the Reds' long wait was over as they sealed their 19th league title and first since the 1989/90 season - before the advent of the Premier League.

Captain Jordan Henderson and the rest of the Liverpool squad gathered together to watch the match on television.

Jurgen Klopp had initially said he would not watch the game, before reversing his decision, insisting there was "no alternative" other than the whole squad enjoying the moment together.

Klopp said: "[Wednesday] morning we thought about it, shall we do something and then we thought maybe not compulsory, the boys have to drive a little bit… and then I said, ‘No, we have to make it compulsory, everybody has to be there’ because I am more experienced and I know who will stay at home and watch it alone will regret it for the rest of his life.

"So, we came here together, it is our bubble, it is the people who are with us everyday, we are all twice-a-week tested so we are fine since we can train again and it’s a nice moment. It is wonderful to share it, but we share it with everybody out there as well because we are here, they are there, but we are all together."

British hockey player, and Liverpool fan, appeared to also be invited, posting videos of Willian's decisive penalty for Chelsea and the full-time whistle.

As the sun went down, the venue turned into a real party, as shown by Trent Alexander-Arnold's output.
