Watch live stream of Drogheda United v Dundalk in the Jim Malone Cup

Drogheda United host Dundalk this afternoon in the annual Jim Malone Cup.

Fans will be able to watch a live stream of the behind closed doors clash on Drogheda United's Youtube channel.

The match between the Louth rivals should be an ideal preparation ahead of the start of the League of Ireland later this month.

Drogheda United, after gaining promotion from the First Division last season, begin their campaign on home turf against Waterford on Friday March 19.

Dundalk, meanwhile, have a President's Cup clash against Shamrock Rovers to look forward to next weekend before they begin their league campaign against Sligo Rovers.

This match comes after Drogheda United yesterday renamed their home ground ‘Head in the Game Park’ to promote mental health awareness.

Club patrons entered a draw to select a charity that would be used to rename United Park.

Local councillor Joanna Byrne emerged as the winner and selected ‘Head in the Game Park’ for the 2021 season.

'Head in the Game' is a movement set up by Irish football fans to raise awareness of mental health across the football community.
