Weeks after she celebrated her birthday on home turf and did the Boxing Day dip in the North Sea, Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall stunned South Shields locals by getting behind the mic to belt out a karaoke classic at the weekend.
Proud Shields lass Jade regularly return to her homeland to see family and catch up her friends and over the past few months she's had another excuse to make frequent visits - the opening of her own bar -
The plush cocktail and live music haunt opened its doors at the end of October to host Little Mix's after show party following the final gig of the Newcastle leg of the door and that is also where Jade celebrated turning 27 on Boxing Day.
She was in the audience to see well-known Shields band Rivelino play to a packed crowd in the bar on Saturday night and after their frontman Neil Todd joked "We hear the landlady is a bit of a singer," Jade joined them for a rousing rendition of Tina Turner's Proud Mary, which you can watch in the video above from Kevin Ho Photography.
The event on Saturday was a fundraiser for Cancer Connections, the charity Jade always does the Boxing Day dip for, and an amazing £1021.08 was gathered on the night.
And there are already plans for another charity night at Red Door later in the year with Rivelino so watch this space!
