Watch Linkin Park sing Carpool Karaoke six days before Chester Bennington's death

Linkin Park have released a surreal video of the band performing on the comedy series Carpool Karaoke six days before singer Chester Bennington's death.

In the video, the band and host Ken Jeong sing along to OutKast's Hey Ya! and a few Linkin Park songs as Bennington, behind the wheel, navigates Los Angeles traffic.

At one point, the singer tries to teach Jeong, a comedian, how to "sring" — scream-sing — a sound that became a trademark for the band.

Bennington was found dead in his home near Los Angeles in July after taking his own life. He was 41.

In sharing the video on its Facebook page, the band pointed fans to the One Might Light Fund, which was established in Bennington's honour.

Linkin Park developed a worldwide following in the late 1990s and 2000s with their abrasive, emotional mix of hard rock and hip-hop.
