Watch Lewis Ferguson offer Bologna rise insight as he leads Scotland's Italian exports after Aberdeen exit

Scotland star Lewis Ferguson has offered a behind the scenes look at his life in Bologna after taking Serie A by storm since leaving the Scottish Premiership.

Ferguson came through the youth ranks at Hamilton Accies after being released by Rangers aged just 14, and would make his mark at Aberdeen after a five year stint in Lanarkshire. Ferguson became a mainstay of the Pittodrie starting line-up during his four year stint in the Granite City - and attracted the interest of Bologna in the summer.

The 23-year-old has become a key starter for the Serie A side this term as they look to land a European spot this term, and will look to make his mark under Steve Clarke during the European qualifiers double header against Cyprus and Spain. After his latest call up, the SFA have offered a look at Ferguson's journey - as well as three other Scots impressing in Italy.

Scotland U21 cap Josh Doig left Hibs in the summer and is looking to help steer the club away from the drop zone after his latest international call up. Christy Grimshaw is catching the eye for AC Milan while Lana Clelland is on the books at Sassuolo with the two Scotland also making their mark in Italy.
