WATCH: Leonard Fournette gives up his game day jersey to recruit a new Jags fan

If there ever was any concerns as to if Leonard Fournette was a team player, those doubts got erased last Thursday when the young running back resorted to a rather unique measure to recruit a new Jacksonville Jaguar fan. After the Jacksonville Jaguars preseason meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles, Fournette offered his jersey to a fan in exchange for his fandom. He also vowed to take it back if the fan didn’t hold true to his word of converting to a Jags fan.

Move over Nick Saban, it appears the Jags may have the best recruiter in the football industry.

Fournette has been known to gift fans with his game day gear over the past three seasons, which has helped him become a fan favorite in Duval. He’s also been a charitable player when it comes to helping the communities of Jacksonville, Louisiana and other cities/states around the nation.

As for the anonymous fan, only time will tell if he holds to his word, but if he doesn’t, there isn’t any doubt that he’ll look to recoup the jersey and probably give it to someone deserving of it.
