WATCH: Legendary NBA coach Don Nelson Is now a marijuana farmer

Don Nelson coached his last NBA game in 2010 with the Golden State Warriors, and retired as the league’s all-time wins leader with 1,335 victories on the sideline.

Since leaving the game, Nelson has since moved to Hawaii. Nine years into retirement, Nelson is a weed farmer in Maui, growing “Nellie Kush,” for his own personal enjoyment.

Nelson was profiled in a recent episode of HBO’s Real Sports with Bryan Gumbel, and he shared some of his tips for farming.

“You’ve got to treat it like a baby. Water them, you’ve got to have music for them. You’ve got to bless them. It’s a whole process, I’m telling you.”
