Watch: Lee Corso makes headgear pick for Georgia-Notre Dame, calls UGA “ugly”

It’s finally Saturday in Athens! College GameDay is in town and that means Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and the gang are making their picks. Lee Corso made his famous headgear pick for the Georgia-Notre Dame game:

College football fans know one thing is incorrect about his prediction: Uga is not ugly! Uga deserves more respect than that. Lee Corso should not be picking a fight with Uga. This is Corso’s fifth time picking Georgia with headgear. The Dawgs are win-less in every game Corso has picked them.

College GameDay is in Athens for the first time since the September 28, 2013 LSU game. The Bulldogs defeated LSU 44-41 that afternoon. Lee Corso incorrectly picked the LSU Tigers. Lee Corso’s famous headgear picks have not been kind to the Dawgs.

The last time Corso made a headgear pick for a Georgia game was last season’s SEC Championship versus the Alabama Crimson Tide. Like he did in the 2018 National Championship Game, Corso picked the Tide:

Corso is rarely accurate when he picks the Dawgs on College GameDay. In fact, Corso had never correctly predicted a Georgia win (he’s 0-4 when picking the Bulldogs). Will Georgia be able to reverse the Corso curse tonight? Corso has missed plenty of chances to pick UGA over the years including the 2018 Rose Bowl against Oklahoma.

Corso has made over three-hundred headgear picks in his career.  The set is live from Myers Quad in Athens. Dawg fans hope the Corso curse will come to an end this Saturday.
