The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies for the third time this season, and though the final score indicates a close game, that was far from the case.
After an even first quarter that finished tied at 27, the Grizzlies blew the game open at the end of the second, eventually building the leading to 29 in the second half.
Throughout the run, LeBron James was the only Lakers showing some level of effort, especially his shot-making. Before the fourth quarter comeback, only James and Talen Horton-Tucker were in double-figures.
James finished with 35 points on 14-of-19 shooting, nine rebounds and seven assists, but no other starter scored more than seven points.
