The first half of the Los Angeles Lakers matchup against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night was predictably one-sided in favor of the two-time defending champions.
But the Lakers have been playing with no prospect for the postseason for almost two weeks and sometimes a key for accomplishing better days is to find little bits of joy during the bad ones. Alex Caruso has been making the most of this opportunity for the past few games, but he even brought some visceral feeling to LeBron James sitting on the court in street clothes.
James was shut down for the rest of the season last week so that he can spend his time working out and continuing to rehab his groin injury that kept him out for 17 consecutive games this season.
The Warriors led the Lakers 60-42 at halftime.
