WATCH: LeBron James Jr. and Zaire Wade trade dunks at new school

While Dwyane Wade has retired from professional basketball, he and LeBron James will share time around the game next season as their sons will be teammates this winter at basketball powerhouse Sierra Canyon. And even though school hasn’t started, Bronny James, Jr. and Zaire Wade aren’t wasting any time when it comes to working in the gym.

Wade, who is entering his senior season, and Bronny, who will be a freshman, posted this video of the two friends exchanging dunks at their school’s gym in Chatsworth, California.

Sierra Canyon’s boys team is coming off a state championship in California last season, led by elite recruit Cassius Stanley and the sons of two former NBA players: Scotty Pippen, Jr. and Kenyon Martin, Jr.

Expectations will no doubt be high for the Trail Blazers but a bit of a change for Bronny after his more low-key basketball environment last season at Crossroads school in L.A. Crossroads has a history of great players coming through, including former NBA star Baron Davis and UCLA big man Shareef O’Neal, son of Shaquille. But the school is more well-known for its unique approach to academics and it is not considered a top basketball program in Southern California.
