Le’Veon Bell is back at it, spending time away from his team and leading fans to once again ask questions about his loyalty. The running back skipped the entire last NFL season because of feeling uncertain about contract negotiations with his then-team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now he’s missing Jets voluntary minicamp that he is skipping out on — after attending the first week, that is.
Bell issued a “Public Service Announcement,” on Twitter, sharing his own response to a fan on Instagram asking when he’d be at practice. Bell insists he’s sticking to the system that works best for him, furthermore, head coach Adam Gase emphasizes that the practices Bell isn’t at are, in fact, voluntary.
