WATCH: Le’Veon Bell apologizes to fantasy football fans for last year

Le’Veon Bell issued a public apology late Monday afternoon for something people were very frustrated about last year.

The former Pittsburgh Steeler apologized for the effects of his absence from the field on … fans’ fantasy football lineups.

Bell tweeted this: “this is loooong overdue!! but I want to take a moment to apologize to all the fantasy owners who picked me last year, I’m sorry I couldn’t pull through for y’all…but trust me, this year’s about to be wayyyy different, I’m bringing the 🏆🏆 this year 😈😈.”

While usually getting Bell in a draft would be a recipe for success in fantasy, it was the polar opposite of that that last season as his hold-out with the Steelers meant zero points for whatever poor fantasy competitor got stuck with him.

Now that Bell is in a new, and theoretically happier, situation with the New York Jets… he’s having fun with it.
