WATCH: LaVar Ball posts video in new Big Baller Brand warehouse after viral photo

Over the weekend, a picture of a Big Baller Brand clearance sale went viral at a local basketball tournament, fueling rumors that the brand was folding in spite of LaVar Ball saying otherwise for months.

On Monday, Ball responded to these rumors by posting a video in the new Big Baller Brand warehouse and making the claim, “Big Baller Brand is back”:

“The Big Baller has moved into his building. My man Joe done found my spot. This is lovely, man. Joe laughing from ear-to-ear. We got our brand new warehouse, man. Big Baller is in the building and I’m really in the building. That’s what I’m talking about. But like I said before, man, take a look at all this and you gon’ see what the Big Baller gon’ do, and we ain’t gon’ do nothin’ but go to the moon, baby! Holla at ya boy! Big Baller Brand is back!”

So, the looming question is: Why is Big Baller Brand trying to clean house?

All indications suggest that the brand is getting ready for a grand site re-launch this fall, when Lonzo Ball starts his first season with the New Orleans Pelicans and LaMelo Ball starts his career in Australia with the Illawarra Hawks of the NBL. The site has been “under construction” since April.

Does that mean that the Big Baller Brand will be as successful as it once was in its second iteration? Maybe not, but it’s probably too early to declare the Big Baller Brand dead on arrival.
