LaVar Ball, a true charmer.
He went on ESPN’s First Take on Monday to discuss the trade that sent his son, Lonzo Ball, from the Lakers to the New Orleans Pelicans over the weekend.
So, per United States law, LaVar had to go on television to talk about his son, how the Lakers organization will suffer without him, etc. But while talking up the oldest of his three boys, he tried to sneak in a little flirtation with First Take host Molly Querim.
Well that was … something. Kudos to Querim for moving it along quickly and kindly. Others among us would not be so professional about it. (Me! I’m talking about me.)
