With Space Jam 2 filming this summer, many superstars around the league and teammates of LeBron James have been rumored to be included in the sequel. One of the most common names thrown around is teammate Lonzo Ball.
Ball and James grew close this season, particularly in the latter half of the year after Ball went down with his season-ending injury in mid-January. Ball’s personality has been on display in Ball in the Family and he would likely make a hilarious addition to the cast.
One person that has not been rumored, though, is Lonzo’s father, LaVar Ball. The outspoken Big Baller himself has not campaigned for a role in the upcoming movie….until now.
On Monday, Fox Sports released a video during the time of LaVar’s media tour across the company’s shows last week that serves as his audition tape to appear in the movie.
Ball’s acting skills leave much to be desired. And considering how he’s viewed in the public, he’d serve as a great villain in the role of Mr. Swackhammer as the leader of the Monstars.
Imagine Ball pulling up with a bunch of 10-feet tall aliens screaming about how his team has “NEVAH LOST.” Sign me up right now.
