Watch: Larne midfielder Mitchell takes on 'Home Top Bin Challenge'

Larne midfielder Andy Mitchell has been taking on the Home Top Bin Challenge.

And now he has thrown down the gauntlet to three other Irish League players.

The social media craze is a take on Soccer AM's Top Bin Challenge, and involves people trying to shoot a football into a small target.

Midfielder Mitchell - a January signing by Larne - is currently having to do some isolation training after the Inver Park club suspended all football activity for two weeks because of cornonavirus.

As well as doing a specified programme sent to him by club coaches, Mitchell decided to do some extra shooting practice with an Irish League Home Top Bin Challenge.

And after nailing his attempt - although we don't know how many attempts he had - the former Linfield man has sent the challenge to Larne teammate Marty Donnelly, Linfield defender Josh Robinson and Crusaders full-back Billy Joe Burns.

"You will have seen people doing all different types of Home Top Bin Challenges on Twitter," Mitchell said.

"I thought I'd give it a go and then challenge a few of the other lads from the Irish League.

"Billy Joe said he hasn’t got a ball so I drove up and threw one in his garden and recorded it.

"No excuses now!"

Mitchell added: "It's all a bit of craic and hopefully it gives somebody a laugh."
