Washington may not have been able to get any points on their first offensive drive of the game, but the same can’t be said for the defense, which used an impressive blitz and strip-sack from safety Landon Collins to get the safety on the Cowboys.
The safety capped off a great start for the Washington defense, which didn’t allow Dallas to do much of anything on offense after starting on their own 1-yard line after a turnover on downs for the Washington offense.
All in all, despite a frustrating end to their first offensive drive, things seem to be clicking for Washington all over the field so far.
