LaMelo Ball’s rookie season was full of many high moments on and off the court. No moment was higher than Ball collecting the Rookie of the Year award on Wednesday, a culmination of a season of special moments.
On the court, those special moments often involved Ball’s incredible passing vision and skill. Despite missing 21 games, Ball led all rookies in assists. He stepped into the league and nearly immediately became one of the best passers in the NBA from day one.
Bally Sports’ Hornets Twitter account shared many of Ball’s best passes of the season just after reports of Ball winning Rookie of the Year surfaced.

One of the more interesting aspects of Ball’s passing is how many different players were on the receiving end of those passes. Ball’s ability to make seemingly any type of pass meant all sorts of players were assisted by Ball during the year.
Considering Ball’s skill and the Hornets’ core, this likely isn’t the last time a highlight video of Ball’s passes is produced.
