Watch: Lamar Jackson does it himself on 8-yard touchdown run on 4th down

The Baltimore Ravens aren’t looking to take this game into overtime, they’re trying to win. Someone once said, “You don’t dance with the champ, you try and knock him out.” And in hostile territory, facing an elite foe, Ravens coach John Harbaugh challenged his team to win by going for it on 4th-and-2 in the red zone. It led to yet another Lamar Jackson Ravens highlight.

After picking up 13 yards on 3rd-and-15, Jackson and the offense answered Harbaugh’s challenge with an eight-yard touchdown run. It put the Ravens ahead of the Seahawks with under 90 seconds left in the third quarter. With the offense unable to sustain drives in this game, settling for field goals in the red zone up until this point, Baltimore desperately needed a spark to give them an advantage and renew hope of leaving Seattle with a win.

With the game very much on the line, Jackson and the Ravens’ offense answered the call in a big way. This is the type of play that makes a close loss into a win.
