Kyrie Irving’s future in Boston has been the subject of speculation for at least a year now with him becoming a free agent this summer.
The cloud of uncertainty around his future seemed to clear up a bit Wednesday night after the Bucks knocked the Celtics out of the playoffs with a 116-91 Game 5 win in Milwaukee. Irving met with the media after the loss and, in response to a reporter asking him for his takeaway from the Eastern Conference semis, said, “For me, it’s just moving on to the next thing and seeing where that ends up.”
Oh. So, that seems to be the end of the Kyrie Irving era in Boston.
