Say what you will about the NFL career of Kirk Cousins, but it cannot be argued that the former Michigan State standout has a heck of an arm, and, aside from a few blunders, that was on display today in Green Bay against the Packers. Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings were in the midst of an attempted comeback in the Packers, trying to conquer a 21-point lead by Green Bay when Cousins hit Diggs with a perfect deep strike:
Unfortunately, the Vikings were halted in their comeback when Cousins had an interception in the endzone with five minutes left in the game. The Vikings were in the redzone and he threw the pick while under pressure on 1st and goal. Cousins ended the game with 230 yards and a touchdown pass, but with a pair of interceptions and a fumble. But, at least he’ll have that pass to add to his highlight reel…
