Kirby Smart and Georgia have, for lack of a better term, choked against Alabama in their past two meetings, costing the Dawgs an SEC title and a national championship.
In both games, it was the backup quarterback who proved too much for an unprepared Georgia team to handle. And in both games, UGA blew a big lead and lost late in the fourth or in overtime.
Letting a backup quarterback come in and catch Georgia off guard falls on the coaches, and Smart said it himself on Tuesday at SEC Media Days.
