WATCH: Khalil Mack strip-sacks Case Keenum for Bears third takeaway vs. Redskins

It’s only fitting Bears OLB Khalil Mack forces his first fumble of the season in front of his former coach’s brother.

Washington Redskin’s coach Jay Gruden, brother of Jon Gruden, could only watch as Mack fired off the left end, beating RT Morgan Moses and punching the ball out of QB Case Keenum’s hands.

DE Akiem Hicks recovered the ball at the 10 yard line, setting up a quick scoring drive for Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky and the offense.

Mack has been busy tonight against the Redskins, accounting for two sacks in the first half. The defense as a whole already has three takeaways: the strip by Mack and interceptions from S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and CB Kyle Fuller.

The Bears lead the Redskins 28-3 at halftime.
