There’s nothing like Khalil Mack running through a wall and straight towards his foes to get you pumped for the Bears’ 2019 season.
Mack, along with the Browns’ Odell Beckham Jr. and the Giants’ Saquon Barkley, appeared in Nike’s newest commercial, which depicts the trio as superheroes come to life.
“Take your game to another dimension,” the ad says.
Well, if there’s anyone that’s taken their game to a new dimension it’s Mack, who in his first season with the Bears had an immediate impact on a defense that was arguably the best in the NFL in 2018.
In 14 regular-season games, Mack totaled 47 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles and a pick-six.
Mack recently said that his goal is to be the best to ever play the game. And while he does have a ways to go, he’s definitely poised to be the next great Bears’ Hall-of-Fame linebacker.
“[Chicago outside linebackers coach Ted Monachino] asked me what I wanted to do, and what I wanted to be. I want to be the best. I want to be the best to play the game,” Mack said. “We’re trying to work toward that.”
