The Dubliner secured a unanimous decision victory over Poland's Aneta Rygielska on Monday to advance to the last 16 in the 60kg category.
She now faces Nune Asatarian of Russia today, with the bout expected to start around 1.30pm Irish time.
Gytis Lisinskas (91+kg) is also in action for Ireland today when he faces Singh Manjeet of India. That fight is scheduled to start at 5.45pm.

Meanwhile, there were wins for Aofie O’Rourke (75kg) and Michaela Walsh (57kg) on Tuesday as Emmet Brennan (81kg) and Niamh Earley (51kg) suffered defeats.
O’Rourke and Walsh are back in action on Thursday, with Brendan Irvine (52kg) also fighting.
