The COVID-19 pandemic caused athletes to reconsider their means for revenue and, possibly, their careers as the pandemic brought uncertainty about their future. Podcasting during that time helped bring in additional revenue streams and, to this day, caused athletes such as the Kelce brothers, Tyreek Hill, and in the NBA forum, Draymond Green, a significant additional side hustle.
So it is no surprise that other athletes have jumped on board, particularly current Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson. Jackson has his podcasting show that airs on YouTube titled KJACK TV. After trying his hand with short interviews during the 2022 NFL season, Jackson gets to try his hand with more of a long-form interview segment with the Bleav YouTube channel.
