In the 2019 NCAA Tournament, a fiery exchange between Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo and then-freshman Aaron Henry went viral as Izzo was seen chewing out Henry during MSU’s win against Bradley. On Sunday, Michigan head coach Juwan Howard had his own argument gain attention as he and Isaiah Livers went at it early in their overtime win against Oakland.
For context, Oakland is one of the worst teams in the country this year, so it was understandable that tempers would be a little high for the Wolverines. Michigan ended up pulling out the win in overtime.
