It may only be vs Florida Atlantic, but Georgia transfer Justin Fields is looking really good in his Ohio State debut.
Fields has a big rushing touchdown and four pretty touchdown passes. The Buckeyes lead 35-14, but after a rough start, FAU has played well on defense.
We’ll update this as it goes:
Early in the game, Fields took a run 51 yards for his first touchdown as a Buckeye.
On the next drive, starting with good field position, Fields hit a wide open receiver in stride to put the Buckeyes on top 14-0.
Next, Fields struck again, hitting a deep pass to an open receiver.
And then it did not take long for Fields to get his third passing touchdown of the game, in addition to his 51 yard running one.

Last year as a freshman, Fields backed up Jake Fromm, and played in 12 of Georgia’s 14 games. He completed 69.2 percent of his passes, had 328 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. Additionally, he carried the ball 42 times for 266 yards and four scores.
