“The Celtics are going to go as far as Kemba Walker can take them,” suggests The Score’s Rob Lopez, and while that may be a bit of an exaggeration, it isn’t much of one — and recent games have done an excellent job of underscoring that point.
What the UConn product has been efficient, productive and available, the Celtics have done well, most recently against the Indiana Pacers as he helped power Boston to a much-needed win that snapped a three-game losing streak. But when he has had to sit or had off nights, the Celtics have struggled against even middling competition — it’s clear Walker’s import to Boston’s roster is paramount.
World Wide Wob (as Lopez is known) had plenty to say about the New Yorker in a recent interview.
