MANILA, Philippines – What happens when you meet someone who looks exactly like you? As it turns out, a lot of very bad things – at least in the case of Julia Barretto’s characters in the upcoming series I Am U.
The trailer for the series was released by iWant on February 12, giving viewers a peek into the story, which focuses on Elise, a young woman who has a chance meeting with Rose, another woman who looks exactly like her.
Soon, Rose moves in with Elise’s family, and they pretend to be twins, but the story takes a dark turn when Elise’s friends start turning up dead one by one.
Julia stars in the series as both Rose and Elise, alongside Tony Labrusca, who plays Elise’s boyfriend.
